ABOUT PRESTON RESERVOIR LITTLE ATHS

Preston Reservoir Little Athletics Centre Inc (PRLAC) was established in 1968 at Edwardes Lake Park, Reservoir comprising of clubs including West Bell, Keon Park, Lakeside, Kingsbury, and East Preston among others. These clubs amalgamated in 2005 mitigating duplication of expenses and forming a stronger Centre

The club returned to a new track at Edwardes Lake in 2020/21 with virtually a brand new committee, and a new membership base. This season begins an exciting new era of Little Aths at PRLAC focusing on community, family and fun. Athletes range from U6’s to U16 and with the new facilities and the establishment of the club social media pages last year, we expect our membership base to grow in the years ahead.

One of the main values we have is that the athletes ‘Do their best’. We focus on improvement and effort over high performance. We do celebrate the achievements of our athletes and as a centre overall but also reward those who continue to improve and set new Personal Bests. All parents and guardians are members of the club too and the entire family is always encouraged to participate by helping out at events and at the centre.

PRLAC is a not-for-profit community organisation that has successfully been a hub for the Preston and Reservoir community for over 50 years, run solely by volunteers and is affiliated with Little Athletics Victoria (LAVic).
